Some things I'm better at with my left, others with my right. I officially sign with my left hand.

It came about by accident -- literally! A first time driver put on the accelerator instead of the brakes and a bicycle riding, teenage Füzzy on his way to high school ricocheted off the bike when struck. His head bounced off the windscreen.
There's a scar on my brain where it hit -- coma for 2 days, amnesia for 2 weeks, and out of school for 2 months. I had to relearn how to use the right side of my body. When I was plunking on the family piano it seemed my right hand was backwards, like it wanted to become a mirror image of itself, like I was playing with my hand upside-down.
Meanwhile, my left seemed much more free, easier. With practice, things came to me.
Here's one instance where I escaped dying or even becoming differently abled in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. And in Füzzy fashion, something quirky came out of it all too.
BTW. ever since then I've not been good with mathematics as much.... a balance.
